Ekiti Recruits 1,522 Health Workers to Strengthen Primary Healthcare

The Ekiti State Government has commenced the issuance of appointment letters to 1,522 newly recruited junior health workers as part of efforts to strengthen primary healthcare delivery across the state.

The recruitment is expected to boost staffing levels at primary healthcare centres, particularly in underserved communities, and improve residents’ access to essential medical services.

The initiative is also expected to support the delivery of critical healthcare services, including maternal and child healthcare, immunisation programmes and routine medical consultations at the grassroots level.

The development underscores the importance of strengthening primary healthcare facilities to improve health outcomes and ensure that more residents can access essential medical services within their communities.
