“Sabon Nigeria, Sai Hashim” posters appear from Kawo Bridge to Kaduna metropolis

Campaign posters promoting Accord Party presidential candidate, Dr Gbenga Olawepo-Hashim, have reportedly appeared across parts of Kaduna metropolis, with residents taking to social media to share images and videos of the growing campaign visibility following President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 campaign flag-off.

Residents posting on social media said the posters were visible from Kawo Bridge and in several other locations across the state, describing the display as a noticeable development in the build-up to the 2027 presidential election.

Among those sharing reports of the posters were social media users identified as Sabo Jimeta and others, who drew attention to the campaign materials bearing the inscription “Sabon Nigeria, Sai Hashim.”

The Hausa language slogan translates broadly as “A New Nigeria, Sai Hashim,” conveying the campaign’s message that a new Nigeria is possible with Hashim.

The appearance of the posters marks a fresh visibility drive for the Accord presidential candidate in Kaduna, a politically significant state in northern Nigeria.

It also comes amid growing campaign activity by presidential contenders following the commencement of preparations for the 2027 election.

For Hashim’s supporters, the slogan represents their call for a new political direction and an opportunity to introduce his presidential agenda to a wider electorate, particularly in northern Nigeria.

The social media reports offer an indication of campaign activity and public visibility in parts of Kaduna.

As political mobilisation gathers momentum, Kaduna is emerging as another location where Accord supporters are seeking to raise the profile of Hashim’s presidential ambition ahead of 2027.
