How Sleeping Less than 7 Hours a Night Can Lead to Weight Gain

Good web design has visual weight, is optimized for various devices, and has content that is prioritized for the medium. The most important elements of a web page should have more visual weight to “naturally attract” a visitor’s attention.

Good design is making something intelligible and memorable. Great design is making something memorable and meaningful.

Most users search for something interesting (or useful) and clickable; as soon as some promising candidates are found, users click. If the new page doesn’t meet users’ expectations, the back button is clicked and the search process is continued.

A good website should be easy to navigate

Creating visual rhythms in your layouts

In design, rhythm is created by simply repeating elements in predictable patterns. This repetition is a natural thing that occurs everywhere in our world. As people, we are driven everyday by predictable, timed events.

NIMASA Donates Relief Materials To Ekiti State Government

By: Isedowo Tosin

The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), donated relief materials to victims of disaster in Ekiti State, saying this is part of the continuous efforts to cushion the adverse effect of natural and man-made tragedies on the people.

The Deputy Governor, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi who on the 19th of August,2021 received the packages on behalf of the State Government, expressed the gratitudes of the State Government and explained how the humanitarian materials for persons suffering severe economic conditions, especially Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), would help in stabilising the situations of the victims.

Recalling some recent incidents in the state, including communal clashes, flooding, and fire disasters, which resulted in the displacement of communities, Egbeyemi said: “The state government had intervened in some areas within its capacity, but due to inadequate resources, there are still some affected victims that have not been attended to.
“It is on this note, the state government is finding this kind gesture worthy because the provision of these items will go a very long way to cushion the effect of these disasters on the victims.”

Director, Administration and Human Resources, NIMASA, Mrs. Ronke Thomas, who represented the Director General, Dr. Bashir Jamoh, said the economic relief and empowerment gesture was a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative that was expanded to cover the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
This event is a strategic demonstration of the agency’s commitment to a better life for all Nigerians. We are here to succour the distressed, strengthen the weak, and encourage the discouraged. We want all to feel at home, especially those who have been physically displaced or emotionally hurt by natural and man-made disasters.”

And with this,NIMASA agency had showcased its integrated support for the less privileged and capacity building for citizens into a national strategy , implemented according to the availability of resources.
