The Honourable member representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju State Constituency, Hon. Dele Adeola has congratulated Iseyin-born jurist, Justice Olukayode Tajudeen Ariwoola for his recent appointment as the acting Chief Judge of Nigeria.

Adeola in his congratulatory message made available to newsmen, expressed his joy for the elevation as the acting CJN.

He attributed his recent appointment to his resilience and remarkable achievements as a jurist at the Apex Court.

He said, he has no doubt that the new CJN coupled with his resounding credentials will uphold the sanctity of the revered office

The statement further reads: “The whole town, in fact Oke-Ogun and Oyo State in general, are proud of you Sir. This is great feat; it is a well deserved and long awaited elevation and we are very happy about it. We pray that Almighty Allah to always guide and guard him in delivering Justice with the fear of God, while stenghtening the judiciary as a whole.

“Baba Ariwoola is an exemplary jurist of prodigous knowledge and impeccable integrity”.

As a noble son of Iseyin, Oyo State, South West Nigeria, he is coming from the Southwest almost four decades since the region last produced a CJN in the person of Justice George Sodeinde Sowemimo from Ogun State who retired in 1985.

He therefore used the ocassion to congratulate the Aseyin of Iseyin, the elders, youths and entire people of Oke-Ogun and Oyo State at large for historical feat.

“I wish him a successful tenure even as the impending substantive CJN”, said Adeola.
