Naira Scarcity: One feared dead, others injured as Policemen descend on protesters in Abeokuta

Like wildfire, protests against naira scarcity spread across Ogun state capital, Abeokuta on Tuesday.

The protests is being witnessed in Sapon, Ibara, Panseke, Asero and Adaton as residents burn tires and take over the streets.

ODUDUWA NEWS has gathered that the First bank branch has been attacked in Sapon by angry residents who are protesting unavailability of cash.

It was also learnt that one of the protesters was shot dead leaving residents scampering for safety.
