On behalf of the 2023 Ibadan Cultural Festival Committee ,I want to congratulate the CCII PG Elect -Barrister Ajewole and his new executives .
The wisdom the new PG Elect need to steer the ship of CCII and hit the ground running positively shall be given to him IJMN.
Now that the elections had been won and lost,we should forgive ourselves and let’s put those negative energy behind us,allow genuine reconciliation and peace to reign.
We should all work together assiduously to rebuild and promote Ibadan ,create programmes for Ibadan indigents,brainstorming on the issues of land grabbers,find solutions to issues concerning the habit of selling birthright properties to non indigenes especially to the Ibos and other piles of challenges facing Ibadan people should be major concern.
2023 Ibadan Cultural Festival celebrations starts next week Sunday,23rd April,let’s come out in our hundreds to celebrate the legacy of our forefathers ( Ogun o kowa ri,omo Ibadan ki seru enikokan,Ogun o kowa ri.)
This Festival is coming at the right time to heal wounds,reconcile and align all our illustrious sons and daughters, brothers and sisters and friends from the same source with same Ibadan developmental agenda.
As you all know,it is a week long programme.
Come on April29,the grand Finale will take place at the Liberty stadium and the whole of Ibadan will go agog again in celebrations.
Pls don’t be left out.
