ODUDUWA NEWS has gathered that in the recently held gubernatorial and state assembly elections in Oke-Ogun area of Oyo State where seven candidates contested, only three won by the PDP with the remaining four seats won by the All Progressives Congress APC.

It was learnt that in Saki West where Femi Julius of the PDP represents lost his re-election bid to Shittu Ibrahim of the All Progressives Congress APC. Kazeem Olayanju representing Oorelope lost his re-election bid to the candidate of the APC, Jimoh Lukman. It was the same thing in Kajola where Mustapha Akeem of the PDP also lost his re-election bid to the APC candidate, Azeez Musbau and candidate of the PDP in Irepo/Olorunsogo who contested for the first time also lost his election to APC candidate, Salam Waliy.
Hon. Dele Adeola of the Peoples Democratic Party representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju State Constituency won his re-election bid and makes history as the first person to be re-elected in the constituency.
Wale Canada of the PDP representing Saki East/Atisbo also won his re-election bid while Anthony of the PDP contesting for the first time as a representative of Iwajowa State constituency won his election.
Summarily, Azeez Misbau (Kajola); Salam Waliu) (Irepo/Olorunsogo), Jimoh Lukman (Oorelope) and Shittu Ibrahim (Saki West) coast home to victory against their opponents, especially the incumbents from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
