The legal luminary, who is also one of APC gladiators in Oyo State, Chief Niyi Akintola SAN has tackled the State APC Chairman, Isaac Omodewu on his recent inauguration of the party State and LG Excos.
Akintola in a statement made available today to ODUDUWA NEWS as read in part:
“Omodewu Inauguration of Exco” The Akintola Movement has released it’s official position which reads inter alias:
INAUGURATION OF OYO STATE EXCO/ LOCAL GOVERNMENT. CHAIRMEN CONDUCTED BY ISSAC OMODEWU IS A NULLITY .
“Sequel to the inauguration of members of executive council committee of APC in Oyo State as well as chairmen of the party in all the 33 local government areas of the State by Hon. ISSAC OMODEWU today Monday 7 February ,2022 , legal luminary and frontline governorship aspirant under the umbrella of APC in the state has stated unequivocally that such act is an exercise in futility.
“He therefore strongly disassociate himself from such an illegal act , he noted that one can not place something on nothing , ISSAC OMODEWU who purpotedly received his certificate of return as the party chairman in the state sometime last week at the national secretariat failed , refused and or neglected to wait for the harmonized state executive council list from the headquarter as well as the wards and local government list for the state before he hurriedly sworn his stooges via the unilateral directive of his principal . Akintola describes this act as self serving , self fulfilling and self aggrandisement against the general interest of the teeming supporters of APC in the state . He further described the inauguration as illegal and a NULLITY whist urging the national headquarter to urgently restrains Omodewu from further anticommosensical acts that can undermine the chances of the party to return to Agodi house come 2023.
“However , the leadership of the party in the state made up of the Zonal leaders of our great party and other critical stakeholders are looking into the issue and are in touch with the National Headquarters of the party to resolve the logjam.
He thereby urged the party faithfuls to remain calm,peaceful and resolute that all will be well in no distance time”.
