Adeyemo Busayo Victoria, an outstanding Nigerian teacher from Lanre Awolokun High School in Gbagada, Lagos State, has emerged as the 2026 Maltina Teacher of the Year, winning an impressive ₦10 million cash prize and a brand-new Honda HR-V.
Her exceptional achievement also earned her an international professional development opportunity, while her school will benefit from a ₦30 million infrastructure project in her honour.
Victoria emerged victorious in the prestigious competition, which attracted over 2,200 valid entries from teachers across Nigeria.
