The former APC stalwart defected despite appeals by Top APC leaders including Asiwaju Tinubu. Abdulmimin Jibrin is now set to contest the House of Representatives ticket under the NNPP, A position he was denied by Governor Ganduje after their fallout in 2019.
At the APC stakeholders meeting called at the instance of Asiwaju, Abdulmumin Jibrin insisted on an automatic return ticket to the House of Representatives.
