Residents of Ogbomoso, Oyo State, were thrown into panic on Tuesday night after suspected gunmen reportedly attacked an office of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), making away with weapons belonging to officers on duty.

During the attack, the gunmen allegedly overpowered officers on duty and seized a number of service weapons before fleeing the scene.
