Osun State governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, on Thursday presented staff of office and instrument of appointment to the new Ogunsua of Modakeke, Oba Joseph Olubiyi Toriola.
The governor congratulated the monarch for being considered worthy of ascending the throne of his forefathers and appealed to the people of Modakeke and beyond to continue to sustain the existing peace and shun all acts of violence.
Oyetola equally enjoined the people to join hands with the new monarch for the progress, unity, peace and the overall development of Modakeke. He assured that his Government will not relent in its effort to play its role in that regard.
He therefore wished Oba Joseph Olubiyi Toriola a successful tenure and prayed that the Almighty God bless him with long life, good health and prosperity on the throne.
