About 120 of the 180 dissolved Councilors in the Oyo South Senatorial District have endorsed the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Akogun Sharafadeen Alli as senatorial candidates as the 2023 general elections draw near.
The former council members pledged to deliver the senatorial district for the APC at a meeting conducted behind closed doors at the destiny house in Mokola Ibadan, the state capital.
The former council members claim that they supported the party due to the caliber of political heavyweights in the party.
The former council members affirmed their support for the Party’s candidates and promised to fight tirelessly to ensure their victories in the next general elections.
Oloye Sharafadeen Alli asked for their support and collaboration during the interactive session in order to ensure victory for for all the Party’s candidates in the upcoming general elections in 2023.
Additionally, he gave them the assurance that their efforts and contributions toward the eventual triumph of the APC and its candidates in the general elections of 2023 would be appropriately rewarded, just as before.
