The Alado of Ado-Awaye, Oba Folakanmi Olugbile has promised to be more committed to the development of Ado-Awaye. He made the statement during the ocasssion of his birthday.
Alado made the promise in a statement signed and sent to ODUDUWA NEWS today by his Secretary, Prince Niyi Okunade-Maku read in part:
“To God alone be the glory .His Royal Majesty, Oba Revd Ademola Olugbile Folakanmi,Makuledoye 11_Soludero 1, the Alado of Ado-Awaye and the paramount traditional ruler in Araromi LCDA, is a year plus today 12th April, 2021.
“In his auspicious birthday message, Oba Folakanmi returned all glory back to his maker for given him grace to witness another birthday on the land of living inspite of several challenges of life as a royal father.
“Speaking further, Kabiyesi said,”being alive to witness another birthday of mine is uncommon grace and I am most graceful to my lord for his love and protection over me”.
“He stated further that,”in order to justify my existence and the good thing God has done for me as a royal father,I shall be more committed and be proactive to the course of Ado-Awaye development,while I am appreciating the cooperation I have been enjoying from well meaning sons and daughters of Ado-Awaye home and in diaspora”.The statement has concluded.
“In the meantime, Kabiyesi seizes the opportunity of his birthday to encourage all sons and daughters of Ado-Awaye home and in diaspora to join him in his current mission to promoting the cultural/tourism heritage of Ado -Awaye land, and by so doing giving the town an international recognition it deserves.In this regard,he invites all indigenes of Ado-Awaye to the forthcoming children day celebration designed and taged “BEST OF 2021”,aiming at promoting our tourism heritage, and as part of his programmes to mark his 4th year on the throne, slated to hold between May 27th and 28th,2021 respectively.
“In his final conclusion, Kabiyesi used the avenue to wish all Muslims faithful a successful Ramadan fasting period”.
