The Park Manage Boss in Oyo State, Mukaila Lamidi Auxiliary has been caught on camera where he was threatening All Progressives Congress APC members in the State.
“Anybody that votes for APC will die with his children and shall perish”, said Auxiliary.
The Lanlate-Eruwa bridge in Ibarapa East Local Government damaged some few weeks ago has received attention by Oyo State Government as the bridge almost near completion.
Many indigenes of Eruwa have been showering encomium on Gov. Seyi Makinde for taking quick intervention in the said bridge.

As the 2023 general elections draw closer, supporters of the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, have held a solidarity march in Ondo state.
The supporters, who were largely young people, held the march on Saturday as they rally more Nigerians to back the former Anambra State governor’s presidential bid.
They called on residents of the town to get their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) so as to vote for a “new Nigeria” and “take back their country”.
They marched through the major streets in Akure, chanting solidarity songs and carrying placards bearing different inscriptions.
The supporters, who are also mainly youths, said they came out to support Peter Obi because they are tired of the state of the nation. According to them, their action was not influenced by money or other material things but by a push for the country to “move to a new direction”.
Some of them said while they have never had much interest in the country’s political activities, this has changed since Obi emerged as a presidential candidate for next year’s poll.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said that its result viewing (IReV) portal was attacked by hackers from Asia during Ekiti and Osun governorship election.
INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu disclosed this in his keynote address at a stakeholders’ conference on election result management in Abuja on Friday September 9.
Yakubu who stated that INEC recorded several failed attempts to hack the cyber security system of the result viewing portal, also revealed they are working to address other challenges which are administrative in nature.
He said;
“Another technical concern for us is the repeated attempts to break through our cyber security system for the portal.
“Our engineers reported several cyberattacks on the portal during the Ekiti and Osun governorship elections, some of them from as far as Asia. I am glad to note that all of them failed.
“However, while we are confident in the security solutions that we have deployed for IReV and all our web presence, we must remain vigilant and continue to strengthen our defences. We have tasked our engineers to do everything possible to fully protect the IReV and all our web resources.
“For example, we found that some of the low-quality uploads that occurred in the field, which some of the observers have also noted, were due to the unavailability or substitution of presiding officers that were trained prior to the elections.
“We shall administratively deal with this challenge and ensure that only adequately trained Presiding Officers are deployed for elections.
“Also, more hands-on training may be required to ensure that all those involved throughout the value chain of the IReV are fully ready for what is bound to be a major outing during the 2023 general election.”
Yakubu also announced that INEC would be introducing new legal provisions, administrative procedures and technological innovations to improve election conduct in 2023.
Oke-Ogun Development Consultative Forum ODCF held its general meeting today in Otu, Itesiwaju Local Government of Oyo State.
ODUDUWA NEWS correspondent at the meeting confirmed the attendance of several dignatories of the region.
In his words, the President of the Forum, Dr. Olusegun Ajuwon OON while giving account of stewardship admonished sons and daughters of Oke-Ogun to always embrace love and unity.
He implored Oke-Ogun indigenes to make use of the strength in their population to redirect both political and economic system of Oyo State.
He lamented the inability of the region to achieve its aim of making an indigene of Oke-Ogun the governor of Oyo State in the last general elections despite resilient efforts in advocating for such.
He however charged the indigenes not to relent in their bid to ensure that unity drives the course of the region at all times.
A notable historian, Dr. Adebimpe Aderounmu while speaking said, the region had not failed in its agitation to ensure that Oke-Ogun indigene becomes the governor of the State. He attributed the struggle to several things that have changed in the political firmament of the state where both the leading parties chose indigenes of the region as the deputy governoship candidates in the forthcoming general elections.
Dr. Seidu Bello, the ODCF Chairman, Abuja branch in his words said, “Oke-Ogun Lokan project he was deeply involved still very much alive”. He stated that the struggle which started in 2019 had moved the region from zero level to higher level in terms of awareness despite insinuations from certain quarters that the’ Oke-Ogun Lokan’ project has failed.
Several other indigenes of Oke-Ogun who spoke at the gathering unanimously affirmed the role of unity and love in driving the region to the Promised Land. They frowned at the fact that Oke-Ogun with 10 LGs could not muster enough strength to secure senatorial tickets of both the leading parties in the forthcoming general elections.
They however concluded that come 2027 any party that does not produce Oke-Ogun indigene as its gubernatorial candidate would not be supported.
Among dignatories that graced the ocassion included the President of the Forum, Dr. Segun Ajuwon OON, former JAMB Registrar, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde OON, Prof. Y.K. Yusuf, General Toogun, Admiral Adedeji, Afenifere Spokesman, Dr. Jare Ajayi, foremost historian, Dr. Adebimpe Aderounmu, ODCF Chairman Abuja branch , Dr. Seidu Bello, traditional rulers, Aare of Ago-Are, Oba of Otu, representatives of APC, PDP among several others.
A former Ekiti Governor, Ayo Fayose, has declared that he is with Rivers Governor, Nyesom Wike, in his fight for justice, equity and fairness in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Fayose said those asking the PDP’s Presidential Candidate, Atiku Abubakar, to call the bluff of Wike and his group were the real enemies of the party.
The former Governor called on those hanging around Atiku to allow him to win the forthcoming election advising Atiku not to allow people without substance to destroy the party.
Fayose, who spoke on Friday while inaugurating a world-class Community Secondary School, Obuama, Harry’s Town in Degema Local Government Area, built by Wike told Atiku that it was not too late to make amends and bring everybody together to win the election.
He said the Wike’s group would meet in due course and take a decision on the way forward describing the Rivers governor as the soul and lifeline of the party.
ODUDUWA NEWS has gathered that the Oyo State Police Command has vowed to unravel the mystery behind the death of one late Aderemi John Abiola whose decomposed body was discovered recently in Idi-Orogbo, Adeosun Life Forte Area, Awotan Apete area of Ibadan.
The state commissioner of Police, CP. Adebowale Williams in a press statement signed by the state police public relations officers, SP. Adewale Osifeso stated that the investigation is ongoing to demystify the possible cause of death of the decomposed body of late Aderemi John Abiola.
A copy of the statement made available to journalists in Ibadan on Friday stated as thus; “Anchoring on the strength of solid communal partnerships and provision of credible information to the Oyo State Police Command, on Sunday 04/09/2022 at about 1400hrs, representatives from the Landlord/Landlady’s Association of Idi-Orogbo, Adeosun, Life Forte Area, Awotan, Apete, Ibadan reported a case of suspected sudden and unnatural death at Apete Divisional Police Headquarters.
The statement further maintained that, “In swift coordinated response to the information provided, the Divisional Police Officer and a team of Crime and forensic detectives approached the (3) Three-Bedroom block residence of the deceased and found his remains glued to his beddings lying upward with no visible signs of struggle at a glance.
Preliminary findings from residents of the community and the Driver’s license found in his wallet revealed that the deceased was indeed Late Aderemi John Abiola and was last seen around 2018, a fact corroborated by family members of the deceased when contacted by detectives of the command attached to the SCID.
Furthermore, the Commissioner of Police, Oyo State Police Command, CP Adebowale Williams psc(+) fdc while appealing to well-meaning members of the public for assistance regarding the provision of useful information has also directed the immediate transfer of the case to the command’s apex investigation body, the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID).
In furtherance of the above, the scene has since been cordoned in the interest of public health and safety to enable the completion of the investigation aimed at demystifying the possible cause of death.

ODUDUWA NEWS has gathered that a collision involving two automobiles on Friday resulted in no fewer than 20 people burnt beyond recognition along Lanlate/Igboora/Maya road, Ibarapa East Local Government area of Oyo State.
The two automobiles, which were allegedly moving in opposing directions, collided and immediately caught fire. According to eyewitness accounts, just two passengers were able to escape the collision, while the other passengers and the cars were completely burnt.
The accident was described as pitiful and unfortunate by Hon. Gbenga Obalowo, Chairman of the Ibarapa East Local Government, who led a rescue team to the scene.
He stated that the bodies of those who were burned have been placed in a morgue, while the two survivors are currently receiving medical care at Awojobi Hospital in Eruwa.
It was a horrific scene because the accident was fatal. Over twenty totally burned human bodies were visible to us. When they collided head-on, a commercial bus and a Sienna that was also carrying passengers caught fire and were destroyed beyond repair”, said Chairman.
Hon. Obalowo urged drivers, especially commercial drivers, to exercise greater caution behind the wheel.
“Our drivers must refrain from driving too fast so as to prevent situation like this”.
Mace of the Ogun State House of Assembly has been reported missing. The mace which is the staff of the Legislative arm and which it derives authority has been stolen to prevent the House from sitting .
Sources said that over 16 members of the House have signed to impeach the embattled Speaker, Olakunle Oluomo. Oluomo was arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) last week on allegations of corruption.
According to the sources, the Speaker alleged to have unilaterally jacked up a 70 Billion Naira loan approved by the House to 100 Billion. The Governor , Dapo Abiodun, who is the beneficiary of this unconstitutional and criminal act has been doing everything humanly possible to protect Oluomo.
Sources say the Governor had tried to plead with members of the House not to impeach the Speaker. The members, majority of whom were denied second term tickets by Abiodun, have vowed to teach the Governor a political lesson. Accusing fingers have been pointed in the direction of the Governor for the missing Mace.
Oluomo has also been charged with stealing 2.4 Billion Naira from the covers of the Assembly. He has however been granted bail but remanded in the EFCC custody pending the time he meets the bail conditions.
The Chairman of PDP Governors’ Forum, Aminu Tanwbuwal has denied handing over the baton of leadership to Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde as the new Chairman.
Tambuwal made this disclosure via a short statement he made available to newsmen as read in part.
“This is to inform the general public and stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party , that the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum (PDP-GF) , Rt Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal , CFR has not resigned as Chairman of the Forum contrary to some media reports.
“Members of the PDP GOVERNORS FORUM are working behind the scenes to resolve all contending issues concerning the Party. To this end a meeting of the Forum will soon be convened”.
