According to the Ogun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), three people were killed and two others were injured in a road accident on Sunday along the Lagos-Abeokuta expressway.
Mr Ahmed Umar, Sector Commander, told reporters in Abeokuta that the accident involved a Volvo mini truck and a Nissan car after the Obada police station along the expressway.
According to Umar, the accident happened around 7:15 a.m. and was most likely caused by a route violation on the part of the driver of the truck marked AKM 489 ZY.
