The Governing Council of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife has invited newsmen to cover its session for the announcement of new Vice Chancellor by 3pm today.
The current Vice Chancellor, Professor Eyitope Ogunbodede’s 5-year tenure has come to an end which has paved way for the new process to appoint his successor.
In an invitation statement made available today by the Governing Council as highlighted thus:
“Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife Governing Council will be announcing the new VICE CHANCELLOR, on Thursday, 17th March,2022, at the “Floor O” of the University Secretariat by 3:00p.m.
“Accordingly, your medium is hereby INVITED to grace the occasion and cover the proceedings.
“Thanks so much for being a partner in progress”.
