The lawmaker representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju State Constituency, Hon. Dele Adeola has made it known to the people of his constituency on his legislative roles towards the establishment of tertiary institution in Iseyin.
He said keen observers would recall some of his activities at the State Assembly to ensure the realization of the campus.
He stated further that the journey to the sighting of the campus kickstarted when he personally asked Governor Seyi Makinde during budget presentation on the imperative of the establishment of LAUTECH Satellite Campus in Iseyin.
Adeola revealed this while he was answering to some questions on a radio programme tagged Legislative Chambers on AGIDIGBO FM, Ibadan.
Adeola further averred that some of the monumental achievements of the executive arm of government especially in Oke-Ogun, including the Iseyin/Moniya road, OYSADEP building, LAUTECH Iseyin, ongoing Iseyin/Ogbomosho road, Iseyin/Oyo road among other projects were carefully backed up with motions he had sponsored on the floor of the State Assembly.
He however enlightened the populace on the primary responsibility of the legislature which has been enacting of law for overall betterment of the citizenry.
He also highlighted some of the community development services he had embarked on which include several boreholes, construction of maternity hospital, free medical check-up and surgeries for thousands of people, football competition, scholarships to students, essay competition, palliatives to aged and widows, empowerment of farmers, grading of roads, facilitation of employment opportunities for constituents and the recent mega empowerment where sewing machines, grinding machines, generators, farm equipment, cash gifts among others were given to the constituents.
He therefore commended Gov Seyi Makinde for the synergy and peaceful relationship between the executive arm and legislative arm which has brought growth and development to Oyo State.
