In support of the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ strike action, members of the Nigeria Labour Congress are protesting in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
The NLC also drew attention of Federal Government to other national concerns through the protest that is presently taking place and to the appropriate agencies.
Numerous protesters flooded the street with placards bearing several inscriptions calling on appropriate agencies to respond to their demands.
Today and tomorrow are set as the days of the NLC’s statewide demonstration.
