It is no longer news that Ekiti State is leading its peers in modernizing cattle rearing in Southwest and Nigeria at large, this gave birth to a diary farm established to rear cows in a modernized ranching settlement.

Earlier yesterday, Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi toured round the diary farm to assess the level of completed work done in the farm.

This was contained in a statement made known to the public by the governor via his official Twitter handle which reads in part:

“Today, I visited Ikun Dairy Farm to inspect the jersey cows delivered to the farm last week. I am pleased that our dairy project is on course to become a success story from our efforts to transform our agribusiness sector and make Ekiti the destination of choice for investors.

“I also inspected the project status of the State Civic Center in Ado Ekiti which will host entertainment and hospitality facilities, increase internally generated revenue, and provide job opportunities for the people of Ekiti State”.
