Family Cries Out As Kidnappers Demand N2m To Free Abducted Teacher In Iseyin

There have been growing concerns and palpable fear from family members and relatives of the abducted teacher in Iseyin due to the inability to get the abductee freed.

The said teacher who was identified as Mrs. Olugbile said to have been abducted last week while coming from where she got a loan of Five Hundred Thousand Naira from a yet to be identified cooperative society.

According to her relatives, the kidnappers had collected the sum of N500,000 loan from her immediately she was kidnapped and still continue to reach out to the family to demand for the remaining balance of N2m ransom.

The residents who spoke to ODUDUWA NEWS under the condition of annonymity said, the teacher before her abduction had been struggling to cater for family needs for a long period of time.

They averred that the abducted teacher may continue to find it difficult to regain her freedom if help does not come her way as her husband and family members are not financially capable to pay the ransom.

Calls put through by ODUDUWA NEWS to the Public Relations of Oyo State Police Command, DSP Wale Osifeso could not be picked as at the time of filing this report.
