Former Deputy Governor of Osun, Iyiola Omisore has indicated his interest to contest for the position of National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress APC.
The APC holds its national convention on March 26, 2022.
The position of the National Secretary has been zoned to the South-West part of the country. Omisore said on Friday that he has submitted his form to express his interest for the position.
Omisore had joined the APC after the election that brought in incumbent governor of Osun State, Gboyega Oyetola. He was in the Social Democratic Party before he decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party and later to APC.
In a short statement which he addressed to the media on Friday, the former Senator representing Osun East senatorial district boasted of his capacity to boost membership of the party and bring the needed changes to the party.
