Academic Staff Union Of University(ASUU) has, after intense deliberations decided to extend the warning strike by yet another 8 weeks(Two Months) to press home their demands. 
The decision was informed by the lackadaisical attitude of the Gov’t towards towards what ASUU tagged as “University-Saving” demands.
However, our sources confirmed that, if government decides to do the needful within the next days, ASUU NEC will reconvene and change its position to a favourable one.
