…To Train Over 300 youths on Vocational & Entrepreneurship Skills

The Ibadan Prime Youths Forum (IPYF) which is the Youth wing of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) is inviting Ibadan Youth, young persons and all interested youths who resides in Ibadan to the 1st Edition of Ibadan Youth Entrepreneurial/Economic summit schedule for Thursday December 2, 2021 at Ibadan House Oke Aremo Ibadan.

The Theme of the summit is THE BURDEN OF YOUTH UNEMPLOYMENT IN NIGERIA, WHOSE FAULT. SUSTAINABLE INTERVENTIONS AND SOLUTIONS. According to the organizers, the event will have 2 session, the key note speeech/ panel session and entrepreneurial/vocational skill exhibition/ success stories.
The Honourable Minister for Youth & Sports Development, Mr Sunday Dare has been scheduled to declare the event open and give the keynote speech while Chief Mrs Amidat Ololade Agboola, Oyo State Head of Service will be the Guest Speaker and to be followed by Panel Discussion which will feature;

  1. Ashiwaju Seun Fakorede, Commissioner for Youth & Sport Development, Oyo State
  2. Mr Afeez Repete, Former Special Adviser to the Oyo State Governor on Youths & Sport
  3. Mr Asiwaju Azeez Olasunkade, HR Expert & Mentor, Member of the Governing Council, Grand Plus College of Education Ilorin
  4. Mr Olayemi Olayinka, State Coordinator, National Directorate of Employment (NDE)
  5. Mr Titilope Gbadamosi, Community Relations Expert, Office of the Minister for Youth and Sport Development, Abuja.

Discussants in the second session includes the following
Damilola Asaleye, CEO Ashdam Solar; Adejoke Lasisi ,CEO Planet 3R; Oluwole Odetayo Co-founder Loftyinc/Wennovation Hub; Wale Oladiti , CEO Weeldrop Petroleum.
According to the organizers, these are successful entrepreneurs who are good at what they do, and they will also exhibit their brand in the outdoor event session to motivate the youths and at the same time share their success stories, the challenges they encounter in their business life.

According to the organizers, their will be opportunities for over 300 participants to get vocational and entrepreneurship skills training slot from partners of the events worth over #200,000 per person, skills include Photography, Tailoring, Weaving, free CAC registration for 40 persons among others.
