Dave Akinremi, the Commander of Ogun State-owned security outfit, Amotekun Corps, has been reported dead.
He was a retired Commissioner of Police before he was appointed by Governor Dapo Abiodun in 2021 to man the security outfit.
The former Amotekun commander was said to have died on Monday evening.
It was gathered that he had been battling with an undisclosed ailment and eventually died Monday.
The Commander of the So-Safe Corps, another state-owned security outfit, Soji Ganzallo, confirmed the incident on Tuesday.
