During the Programme, free eye testing was conducted on participants and drugs were given to those who need them.

It explains why we all need to attach great importance to the care of our eyes. According to Ralph Waldo Emerson, “The health of the eye seems to demand a horizon” and the Yoruba people has a saying that “The eye is the greatest body part, while the feet is the greatest for movement. May we be able to move as far as we see and see as far as we move.”
“Meanwhile, being ill or unwell is a major characteristic of humans. What is important is take the correct health measures whenever we are down. This justifies our being here at this moment. One of the most valuable gift a man can give to another man is the gift of healthy living. It is on this not that I urge everyone here present to grab this rare opportunity with both hands with an heart full of appreciation.”
