The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has vowed to release 2021 WASSCE results on November 27th while advising candidates to be wary of fraudsters who may want use the advantage of stipulated timeframe of releasing the results to defraud them.
This was contained in a statement signed and made available to newsmen by the Head, Public Affairs of the organization, Mrs. Agnes Taye-Cudjoe as read in part:
“The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) wishes to update its numerous publics on the West African Senior School Certificate Examination for School Condidates 2021.
” Coordination and Marking exercises have been completed and processing of results as well as other post-examination activities are ongoing as we make frantic effort to release the results on Saturday, 27 November, 2021 at 16:00 hours.”
The council cautions candidates to be wary of websites announcing the release of the results and of persons who promise to upgrade results for a fee. These are activities of fraudsters and all stakeholders are hereby alerted accordingly. Furthermore, the council urges all Institutions
to always authenticate results presented to
them.
