Nigerian Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu, in a press briefing today, has claimed that it is the responsibility of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) to compensate students for the time wasted during the six-month strike, not the Federal Government.

Adamu Adamu boasted that members of the union should never expect salaries for the 6months they have stayed out from work.

The Minister also advised affected public university students to “take ASUU to court” if they are interested in returning back to campus.
