Shina Peller pays condolence visit to Sunday Igboho in Cotonou over mother’s demise

The Ayedero of Yorubaland, Honourable (Dr.) Shina Abiola Peller, on Thursday paid a condolence visit to the popular Yoruba freedom fighter, Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, in Cotonou, Benin Republic over the demise of his mother, Sikirat Abeo Adeyemo.

Honourable Peller expressed his heartfelt condolences to the deceased’s son, Sunday Igboho, his siblings and other family members while he urged them to take solace in the fact that mama lived a purposeful and fulfilled life.

The Ayedero of Yorubaland added that the late Mama Sikiratu Adeyemo has left great legacies behind, noting that one of the legacies is Sunday Igboho himself, whom the Oke Ogun-born businessman cum politician described as a great personality and freedom fighter of note.

Moreover, Honourable Peller seized the opportunity to pray for the soul of the deceased and that God gives Sunday Igboho, his siblings and other family members the fortitude to bear the loss.

In his response, Mr. Adeyemo expressed profound gratitude to Honourable Shina Peller for the visit while he also seized the opportunity to share some of the good memories of his late mother with him. Mr. Adeyemo described his late mother as loving, spiritual, all-embracing, nurturing, ever supportive, encouraging and a source of inspiration.

Mr. Adeyemo hails from the same Oke Ogun region where Honourable Peller is from. While Adeyemo hails from Igboho in Orelope Local Government area of the Oke Ogun region, Oyo State, Honourable Peller hails from Iseyin. They are also both in the same Oyo North Senatorial District.
