Popular Yoruba radio and television host Alhaji Abiodun Oropo, commonly known as “Oyinmomo joojo,” has passed away.
His untimely illness-related death occurred late last evening, according to source from relatives.
It was learnt that he became suddenly ill two days ago. He was rushed to various medical facilities for treatment, but nothing worked until yesterday, when he passed away.
He had well-known radio programmes on FaajiFm, Dux fm, and various other radio stations in the south west up to his death. He was an active participant in the Nigerian Association of Freelance and Independent Broadcasters.
Today at noon, the funeral starts at his Orile Agege home.
