The Osun State gubernatorial aspirant under the platform of PDP, Senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke said he is deeply saddened by the callous and gruesome murder of worshippers at St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo state.

This was contained in a statement Adeleke made available to newsmen as read in part:

“The carnage is a criminality of an unimaginable proportion and I join every well-meaning Nigerian to condemn the dastardly act that put many families in mourning over the loss of their loved ones.

“I commiserate with Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and the good people of Ondo state, especially families of the victims of the attack.

“In this moment of grief and pains, I offer my prayers and hope that God gives everyone who lost loved ones the fortitude to bear this terrible moment. I also pray for the quick recovery of those who suffered injuries as a result of the attack.

“It is my hope that perpetrators of the evil act are fished out and brought to justice while also imploring Governors across Southwest to come together and fashion away to make sure no such incident happen again”.
