President Bola Tinubu announced during today’s Federal Executive Council meeting at the Presidential Villa Abuja that no ransom will be given for the safe return of the kidnapped children from Kuriga in Kaduna State.
The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Muhammad Idris, confirmed this stance and reiterated the President’s directive to the defense to ensure the safe rescue of the children.
President Tinubu firmly stated his opposition to paying ransom to kidnappers and emphasized the government’s commitment to combat kidnapping and other criminal activities.
The administration underlined its zero-tolerance policy towards kidnapping, particularly mass abductions, signaling a resolute approach to addressing such threats.
