Earlier yesterday, Igbaro Town in Apatere received several people from all walks of life as the founder of an NGO, Baby Blue Angels Foundation, Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo popularly known as RAD was conferred with chieftaincy title.
Igbaro Town is a community in Lagelu Local Government, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The chieftaincy title of ‘Yeye Maiyegun’ of Igbaro Land was conferred on Hon. Ramata Agberemi in the presence of several dignitaries and other selected personalities who also bagged chieftaincy titles.
According to Onigbaro, Baale Olanrewaju Olalere, the awardees were selected based on their humanitarian services to the less privileged and their contributions to the society at large.
In her words, while speaking to the Correspondent of Oduduwa News, Ramata thanked the traditional ruler of the community, Onigbaro of Igbaro, Baaale Olanrewaju Olalere for counting her worthy of the honour.
He hinged the decision of the town to honour her on the fact that her humanitarian services as well as her contributions to the community were noticed and appreciated and that she felt honoured to be counted worthy of such noble title.
She further avowed that she would continue to do more for the community and that she would not relent in her bid to ensure that the less privileged are taken care of through her NGO, Baby Blue Angels Foundation.
Among those who graced the occasion were politicians, traditional rulers, business men and women amidst several others.
