The founder and financier of Dominion mother foundation, Erelu Kemisola Josephine Elebute Halle, has urged Ekiti people and PDP delegates to yield to the popular demand of the electorates by fielding former governor Engr Adebayo Segun Oni in the forthcoming PDP governorship primary election.
She made the appeal in Abuja when Engr Segun Oni submitted his nomination and expression forms at the PDP national Secretariat, today.
Erelu stressed that Engr Segun Oni remains the best candidate acceptable to the general public and the delegates must align with the demand of the populace to render the rigging tactics of APC useless.
The Ayedun-Ekiti born philanthropist tasked the delegates to go out and feel the pulse of workers, artisans and common people in Ekiti to form their decision.
“I urge our dear delegates to go out and feel the people’s pulse to know the candidate they are expecting our great party to give them and form their decision around it, this is the only way our party can return to power in 2022” Erelu distributed umbrellas, nose masks, cooked rice and T-shirt designed with Segun Oni picture to people with no regards for nepotism and she stated that the umbrella serving as logo of our great party, shows that we’re working under the same shelter as family regardless of any of the group working for Segun Oni you belong to, in her statement while addressing the people, she expressed her undoubtedly happiness on contributions of every other group working for emergence of Segun Oni, she also urged them to continue with their tremendous working to return Engr Adebayo Segun Oni to Oke Ayoba come 2022, the statement reads.
Engr Segun Oni stormed the PDP national Secretariat to submit his forms amidst fanfare.
While speaking, the governorship aspirant said all is now set to rescue the state from its crippling stage and return it to enviable height.
He called on the party to ensure that the primary election slated for early next year is conducted freely and fairly.
The former governor was accompanied by Dominion mother foundation members, party chieftains and stalwarts from Ekiti state.
