Prof. Tajudeen Olumoko of Dean of Student Affairs, Lagos State University (LASU), Ojo, has been sacked over allegations of certificate racketeering.
The sacking of Olumoko was sequel to hias alleged involvement in certificate racketeering syndicate issued genuine Lagos State University certificates to interested individuals at fees ranging from N2m to N3m, depending on the course.
A news report published on Monday, revealed the allegations against him which led to his removal.
Meanwhile, a senior lecturer in the Department of Political Science, Dr Abiodun Fatai-Abatan, is said to have been appointed to act as the new Dean of Student Affairs.
