Oduduwa News has gathered that suspected serial vandal was apprehended earlier on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at approximately 6:15 a.m. by officers of Odua People’s Congress OPC with items allegedly stolen from BEDC at Oke Ijoka area, near Igbo Olosuta, Ikere Ekiti.
Speaking to Correspondent of Oduduwa News on Sunday morning, an eyewitness who claimed condition of anonymity said the suspect was immediately handed over to Police to prevent mob action by people and according to information at his disposal, the suspect has been cooperating with Police Officer to arrest other syndicates and be charged to Court by next week.
The suspect has been taken to the Police Headquarters in Ado Ekiti for further investigation and prosecution.
Residents have been showering encomium on the men Odua People’s Congress for their swift action in apprehending the suspect.
