The Oyo State gubernatorial candidate under the platform of Accord Party, Chief Bayo Adelabu has said that education sector in Oyo State is not adequately funded because the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde has failed to prioritize public schools.
He alleged that the teachers in Oyo State have been writing exam questions on the blackboards against the usual printing of exam questions as obtainable in the past administration.
He said this while answering questions at the ongoing gubernatorial debate in Ibadan.
He also claimed that many public schools in Oyo State are in dilapidated state because they lack adequate infrastructures.
He however charged the Governor of the State to ensure that some of the identifiable problems in public schools are properly addressed in order to ensure that education sector performs excellently
