The tomb of one Alhaji Kolawole Waheed, a 68-year-old man who was buried on Thursday, was exhumed on Friday midnight in Ibadan, and his head, wrist, and other body parts were hacked off by yet-to-be identified people.
The head, wrist, and intestines of the dead body had been cut and taken away from the repository, which was located between buildings in the compound. While trying to figure out what had happened, it was discovered that the repository had been scattered earlier on Friday morning with the part of the dead body uncovered.
While speaking with journalists, one of the diseased’s family members described the awkward occasion as reawakening of pains they have suffered in the past for the loss of their loved one.
They however implored the police to fish out whoever had hands in it.
