Recently, Shina Peller’s immediate predecessor in the House of Representatives, Abiodun Olasupo, has joined the Peoples Democratic Party, or PDP.
Between 2015 and 2019, ‘Supo’ represented the Federal Constituency of Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Iwajowa/Kajola on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
He was appointed as the Secretary of the Electoral Committee that handled the 3-man ward adhoc delegates in Bayelsa state, and as the committee chairman, he will oversee the holding of the PDP’s state assembly primary in Bayelsa state.
Meanwhile, source closed to ODUDUWA NEWS has confirmed that the ex-Reps member has been tipped to replace the embattled Deputy Governor, Rauf Olaniyan.
Efforts are currently geared towards prevailing on Gov Makinde to see reasons why the former member of House of Representatives should be selected among several other options.
