We are on standby to help: The Association of Professional Retired Nurses and Midwives of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter assures Governor Seyi Makinde

On the account of the late Tuesday evening Explosion that rocked most part of Ibadan, the Association of Professional Retired Nurses and Midwives of Nigeria, Oyo State Chapter APRNMN has assured the Oyo State government through a release made by their Chairman, Balogun Gaphar Babatunde Ojetola on Tuesday night.

You will recall that it was announced on all major media channels of an explosion which rocked many parts of inner Ibadan City which left some victims injured with some fatality recorded. In a major incident such as this, it is most likely that service users will overwhelm available regular service providers. In such  incidents that cause significant disruption to everyday business operations, and usually demand an urgent, high-priority (sometimes all-hands) response , experienced stakeholders with equal capacity and capabilities like the retired professional Nurses and Midwives could be kept on standby.
In this regard and in the spirit of service to God and humanity, the Association of Professional Retired Nurses and Midwives of Nigeria Oyo State Chapter, APRNMN are ever ready to lend a helping hand to their serving colleagues should the need arise. The state government should be assured of our voluntary services at all times of need.

Our prayers are with you as we share in your grief. We like to convey to the families of those injured and whose property were destroyed our earnest hope that they may speedily recover. Amen. On the same note, we commiserate with the Executive Governor, government and the good people of Oyo State on this catastrophy. May the good Lord heal the wounded and preserve the living. Amen
