St. Paul’s Anglican Church Ajia, Ibadan North Diocese Appoints and Decorates Engr. Sunday Gbenjo As Balogun Ijo

The St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Saturday, 30th April, 2022 decorated Engr. Sunday Gbenjo as the Balogun Ijo of St. Paul’s Anglican Church of Ajia.

The decoration was done by The Most Revered Dr. Segun Okubadejo the Diocesean Bishop of Ibadan North & Archibishop of Ibadan Province.

The wife of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Mrs Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde was also decorated as the Otun Iya Ijo.

Other appointed church Chiefs includes Chief Joseph Oluwole Ajayi decorated as Baba Ijo; Engr. Amos Olufunso Fakayode decorated as Otun Baba Ijo; Bukola Samsom decorated as Baba Ewe and Mr Ayo Ladipo decorated as Baba Egbe Ajihinrere.

Friends and family who came to celebrate with Engr. Sunday Gbenjo Includes Executives and Members of Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, Omo-Ajorosun Club President, Mr. Abiola Alli and members of the club, Alajia of Ajia, Traditional Leaders, Business Associates, Captain of Industries, Community Associations, among others.

Similar, the Ibadan Joint Traders Association presented an Award of Excellence to Engr. Sunday Gbenjo, the presentation was done by the Iyaloja of Ibadan, Chief Mrs Abiola Iswat Ameringun in the presence of Chief Abiola Alli and other members of trade union and Ajorosun club members.

The Bishop charges the new church chiefs to make themselves available for the work of God and continue to contribute to the development of the church and humanity in general.
