The Executive Chairman, Oyo State Housing Corporation and a former Attorney General, Barrister Bayo Lawal, has applauded Governor Seyi Makinde for spreading his developmental projects across the five zones in the State.
Bayo Lawal said this while welcoming the Governor to the Oke Ogun area of the state where the Governor will be celebrating his birthday and Christmas. It could be recalled that Makinde had promised the people of Oke Ogun that he would be celebrating his birthday every year at Saki adding that government activities and operations would be conducted in the zone for at least a week.

Lawal who is the Bamofin of Kisi said the immediate past government of the state focused their developmental projects in Ibadan at the expense of other four zones in the state. His words:

“I am glad to welcome the Peoples’ governor to Oke Ogun. He is a talk and do governor. All his developmental strides and legacy projects are evenly distributed across all the five zones which include, Ibarapa, Ibadan, Ogbomoso, Oke Ogun and Oyo.

”He has turned all the zones to projects sites. The people of Oke Ogun one and two are solidly behind him. He has put smiles on our faces unlike the previous administration who abandoned us throughout their eight years in office.”

Lawal added that the people of other zones especially Oke Ogun will forever be grateful for the Governor’s gesture.

“Permit me to use this opportunity to welcome His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde to Oke Ogun where he will be celebrating his birthday and Christmas.

“I want to also commend the Governor for spreading developmental projects across all zones not ignoring any. Unlike in the past, where developmental projects were done mostly in the state capital ignoring other zones. The people of Oke Ogun will forever be grateful to you.” he said.
