The chairman of Oorelope Local Government, Hon. Akeem Raheem on Monday donated relief materials to Widow, Police and Schools.
In a statement released by the chairman in the early hours of Monday, he said the relief materials/empowerment is part of the fulfillment of his electoral promises, and promise to always but the security and welfare of the people first.
A motor vehicle (Golf Volkswagen) was donated to the Vigilantes and Hunters while Operation Burst vehicle was refurbished to make their movement east to the nook and cranny of the community boundaries in other to curb the activities of the criminals within the area.
In addition, Five Bajaj Motorcycle also added to the first five previously given to the Vigilantes and local Hunters, while a generating set each was donated to NCDC,POLLICE and AMOTEKUN.
School Registers , Chalks were also distributed to the Primary schools within the local Government through the LGUBEA.
In addition to these, cash gift was given to widows in the local Government as to reduce the rate of hardships been faced by them.
The chairman in his closing remark, promised that such empowerment will continue, as he will continue to prioritize the welfare of his people.
