Makinde, Sunday Gbenjo, others honoured by St. Paul’s Anglican Church Ajia, Ibadan North Diocese

The St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Saturday, decorated Her Excellency, First lady of Oyo State, Mrs Mrs Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde was also decorated as the Otun Iya Ijo of St. Paul’s Anglican Church of Ajia.

The decoration was done by The Most Revered Dr. Segun Okubadejo the Diocesean Bishop of Ibadan North & Archibishop of Ibadan Province.

Also, Engr. Sunday Gbenjo was also decorated as the Balogun Ijo.

Other appointed church Chiefs includes Chief Joseph Oluwole Ajayi decorated as Baba Ijo; Engr. Amos Olufunso Fakayode decorated as Otun Baba Ijo; Bukola Samsom decorated as Baba Ewe and Mr Ayo Ladipo decorated as Baba Egbe Ajihinrere.

In the entourage of Her Excellency were the Secretary to The State Government, Mrs Adeosun, Commissioner for Special Duties and Mrs Bolanle Sarunmi.

The Chairman of Ona-Ara Local Government, and members of his cabinet were also presents.

Other distinguished personalities presents includes Includes Executives and Members of Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, Omo-Ajorosun Club President, Mr. Abiola Alli and members of the club, Alajia of Ajia, Traditional Leaders, Business Associates, Captain of Industries, Community Associations, among others.

The Bishop charges the new church chiefs to make themselves available for the work of God and continue to contribute to the development of the church and humanity in general.
