Kazeem Olubunmi Isolagbenla Foundation on Monday presented a total sum of sixty thousand naira and certificates of excellence to winners and participants of Secondary Schools Quiz Competitions in the 2022 Ibadan Cultural Festival organized by the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes – An umbrella body of all Ibadan sons and daughters.
The presentation was done by Mr Kola Amusat-Gbenla, the representative of the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the foundation Otunba Kazeem Isolagbenla.
The beneficiaries are Abdul-Qoyum Olajide, Muslim Grammar School, Odinjo came 1st; Timileyin Akinloye, Community High School came 2nd; while Mariam Adekola, Our lady of Apostle, Odo Ona came 3rd. Before the presentation, the representative of the foundation made it clear that the foundation works with communities in the area of education, health, environment and community development. He noted that the foundation will always do everything humanly possible to support education of Ibadan Indigenes because the Gbenla family loves education and believe in the Ibadan project.
Presenting the sum of thirty thousand, twenty thousand and ten thousand naira respectively to first, second and third position, Mr Amusat-Gbenla admonished the beneficiaries not to relent in their pursuit for academic excellence.
The Chairman of 2022 Education Sub-Committee, Professor Remi Raji Oyelade appreciated KOI foundation for their partnership as he also on behalf of the Chairman 2022 Central Planing Committee, Balogun Gaphar Ojetola and the Chief Host, The President-General of Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes presented Awards to the Winners.
