The Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes on Friday, 7th of July 2023 sworn in new leadership of the organization for another two year.
The ceremony took place at the Bode Amao hall during the Annual General Meeting of the council.
Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes is a conglomerate of over 150 social-cultural clubs in Ibadan, and the next in hierarchy to the Olubadan in Council.
The immediate past President-General, Prince Oluyemisi Adeaga appreciated Ibadan for given him the opportunity to lead the foremost social cultural organization in Ibadan and the world at large and equally pledged his support to the new administration for the development, advancement and sustenance of peace in Ibadan land.
The new President-General, Barrister Niyi Ajewole after the swearing in said that advancing Ibadan development is at the center of his administration.
Barr Ajewole while giving his Presidential speech reiterated his commitment to the development of youth, through periodic youth engagement and different empowerment programs, including building their capacity.
In attendance were representatives from different clubs, family and friends of Barr Ajewole, representative of the CCII youth wing, and well wishers.
