Activities in Ringroad/ Mobil axis of Ibadan, Oyo State Capital was put to an hold in the early hours of Sunday, July 24, 2022 as clash occurred between the Yoruba and Okada riders who were of Hausa tribe.
Our correspondent learnt that a disagreement ensued between the Yorubas and Hausas which led to the severe matchete of a Yoruba man and in retaliation, the Yoruba people mobilized themselves and attacked them.
It was learnt that during the fight, many shops were razed, people were seen scampering for safety while the commercial activities were paralyzed.
As at the the time of filling this report, the total number of casualties are unknown. Men of the Amotekun Corps are currently stationed there to restore nolmacy.
