Chairman, Southern Nigeria Traditional Rulers Council(SNTRC) accompanied by The Ajero of Ijero- Ekiti Oba Joseph Adewole Adebayo, the ALAAGBA of Aagba, Oba Rufus Olayinka Ogunwole, ONIGBAYE of Igbaye, Oba Joseph Okunlola Oni, Salu of Edunabon, Oba, Kehinde Adesoji Oladepo, the Vice Chancellor of the OJAJA University, Ilorin, Professor Jeleel Ojuade and a retinue of administrative and traditional aides landed at about 4:pm today and received by a mammoth crowd of Borno Elders, members of Yoruba community and top government functionaries led by the state governor, Professor Babagana Zulum flanked by the
Pro-Chancellor of Ibrahim Kazim University, Maiduguri, Alhaji Mohammed Indimi and the university’s Vice Chancellor, Professor Babagana Gutti.
The train was led by the governor to the government lodge at Maiduguri where the Natural Leader of the Oduduwa Race worldwide is currently being hosted to a courtesy visit before he visits the Shehu of Borno who is also the Spiritual, Political and Cultural Leader of the Kanuri people globally Abubakar ibn Umar Garba el-Kanemi
later this evening.
As the newly appointed Chancellor of the University, Ooni Ogunwusi, the Co-chair man, National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN) is in Maiduguri, Borno state to attend the Convocation Ceremony of the state owned university; Ibrahim Kazim University, Maiduguri which holds tomorrow morning.
