The governor of Lagos State, Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu presents Staff of Office to Alara of Ilara, Oba Folarin Olukayo. In his statement released to the PRESS which read as stated thus:
“Earlier today, I further reiterated our administration’s commitment to the fulfilment of our promise to spread infrastructure to all parts of Lagos State including Epe Division.
This I made, when I presented the staff of office, and Instrument of Appointment to Oba Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo. The Alara of Ilara in Eredo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) Epe division.
“It was indeed a pleasure to be a part of this historic event, because His Royal Majesty, Oba Ogunsanwo is an astute professional who is bringing to the revered stool, a robust background and rich experience, having served as Executive Chairman of the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service. (LIRS)
“On behalf of myself, the Government and people of Lagos State, I rejoice with him as he ascends the stool of his ancestors.
“I hereby implore HRM. Oba Ogunsanwo to use his wealth of experience for the peace and development of Ilara, Epe Division and Lagos State as a whole”, said Sanwo-Olu.
