The Jagunmolu Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi, yesterday pay host and officially declared open a 3-day seminar for artisans across Oyo State. This impactful event is part of his continuous efforts to empower local artisans by equipping them with modern skills and knowledge that will enhance their productivity and contributions to the socio-economic development of the state. Chief Sanusi’s dedication to the betterment of our community remains evident through initiatives like these, which focus on human capital development and capacity building.

During the seminar, the Oyo State Artisans Group, led by their president, Aare Yisau Kolayode, took the opportunity to pledge their total support for Chief Jubril Dotun Sanusi’s gubernatorial ambition. This declaration reflects the deep trust and confidence the artisans have in Chief Sanusi’s vision for a prosperous Oyo State where local industries thrive and artisans play a pivotal role in the state’s growth.

The guest lecturer, Mogaji (Asiwaju) Nurudeen Akinade emphasized the critical role that ARTISANS play in the development of the community, noting their contributions to grassroots economic progress. He further highlighted how Chief Sanusi’s leadership, if elected as Governor, would prioritize the empowerment and growth of ARTISANS by creating an enabling environment for them to succeed.
